Access Group is a name accredited with the provision of the best of best services, solutions and products that are provided to their clients and customers alike. It was introduced in the year 1995 initially focusing its sales efforts to a fixed clientele so as to be one of the first Data Network Operators (DNoPs) in Pakistan. This was done to insure a great customer experience based on the exceptional value added services that they offered.

In the year 1999, the Group then launched its e-business operations arm in a strategic partnership with ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited, the largest and oldest leasing company in Pakistan. The project, ORIX NETWORK, was aimed at launching the first and largest independent payment network. The project took off smoothly and allowed the birth of debit cards in Pakistan, with ABN AMRO Pakistan becoming the first debit card issuer on this network. Currently, it is the largest network catering to Loyalty cards, private label debit and credit cards. More than 20 banks are connected to this network.

Access Group has established a number of relationships over the years, with world leading solution providers like Hypercom, Oracle Siebel, Rsystems (Indus Soft), OneEmpower, G&D, Safenet, CometecEF Data/Memotec and Amplus. They enable Access to provide best of breed solutions to its clients.

In 2005, the Group decided to expand the service coverage of its satellite services. The DNOPS arm of the business took advantage of new IP Over satellite (IPoS) technologies that have changed the VSAT business dynamics. It opted to build a strategic partnership with iDirect, a company gaining market leadership in providing the IPoS VSAT HUB and remote technologies. Access Group bought and installed an iDIRECT HUB and got its resources trained and certified by iDirect. The investment has been a phenomenal success and a lot of customers with sWide Area Networking (WAN) requirements have signed up with Access for this service.
